4. User Accounts

4.1 Account Creation

You must create an account to use our Service. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

4.2 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.

5. Content and Intellectual Property

By uploading photos or providing information ("User Content"), you grant Taleeo a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and modify your User Content solely for the purpose of creating your personalized book.

5.2 Ownership of Books

You retain ownership of the personalized books created for you. However:

• The underlying story templates and AI technology remain our property
• You may not resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the books without our written permission
• Personal use and gifting are permitted

5.3 Taleeo Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are the exclusive property of Taleeo and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Upload inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on the rights of others
• Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or compromise our Service
• Use the Service for any commercial purpose without authorization
• Upload photos of individuals without proper consent
• Create content that is defamatory, discriminatory, or harmful

7. Payment and Pricing

7.1 Pricing

Prices for our books are displayed on our website and are subject to change. All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated.

7.2 Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees to your payment method.

7.3 Refund Policy

Due to the personalized nature of our products:

• Digital previews are non-refundable once generated
• Physical books may be refunded if defective or damaged during shipping
• Refund requests must be made within 30 days of delivery
• We do not offer refunds for customer errors in personalization

8. Shipping and Delivery

For physical book orders:

• Shipping costs are calculated based on destination
• We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers

9. AI-Generated Content
