Our AI image model is fine-tuned with strict safety guardrails. Every prompt is designed to produce warm, Pixar-style illustrations — bright colours, soft edges, and characters that feel safe and inviting. Nothing dark, nothing scary, nothing inappropriate ever reaches a child's book.
Our story prompts are crafted by a team obsessed with child development. Every NEGATIVES clause in our AI prompts explicitly blocks photorealism, frightening imagery, shadows, and any content that could feel unsettling. Good vibes only.
The photo you upload is used solely to generate your personalised book. It is stored securely in Firebase Cloud Storage with strict access rules — only your account can access it. We never use your photo to train AI models, and we never share it with third parties.
Every book template goes through a human review process before it becomes available. Our team reads every verse and approves every illustration style — so what you see in the library has already been verified to meet our standards.
Every illustration starts with a carefully crafted prompt that specifies a Pixar-style 3D animated aesthetic — rounded characters, warm lighting, and a joyful colour palette.
Every prompt includes an explicit blocklist: no text on the image, no photorealism, no dark or harsh shadows, no frightening imagery. The model cannot produce anything outside the defined scope.
When we use your uploaded photo, it is fed to our AI as a style reference only — for facial identity and likeness. It generates a fully illustrated, animated character. The original photo is never overlaid or directly visible.

We are parents too. We built Taleeo for our own children. Every decision we make — in prompts, in data handling, in content approval — is made with that in mind. If we wouldn't hand it to our own kids, it doesn't ship.
